Wesley: All right. I'm going to let you all in on something you may have trouble comprehending. I assure you however-- Gunn: Vampires are real. Wesley: I was telling!

'The Cautionary Tale of Numero Cinco'

Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

**You will not bring up marriage, except in referencing other people. For instance - "Aw, X and Y are getting married." is acceptable. "Aw, X and Y are getting married." followed by a pointed look at me is not.

Yeah, we're discussing that one tonight. That and the mandated church attendance.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Cashmere, I really think you need to hit your doctor up for Flexiril (not any other muscle relaxer, b/c the rest don't do shit for back pain like yours) and vicodin or percocet.

I maintain my stance that Tylenol 3, when used for the type of pain you have, might as well be a sugar pill.

t edit And I see from your LJ that I never answered your question about if vicodin/percocet make you loopy. For me, personally, they made me floaty, but NOT the type of floaty where I wouldn't be able to look after kids. I'm not sure I can explain it very well. My feeling is, take 1, maybe when Christopher is home, and see how it makes you feel, and go from there.

But for the love of God, get you some narcotics and Flexiril! If I weren't going to the F2F, I'd drive up there this weekend and fill you full of drugs.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

I'm so glad your first day of work went well, Spidra. I hope that it's a good omen of many happy and fulfilling work days to come.

Jilli, I would give you a good smite as well, although not as good as Aimee's, 'cause that one's pretty spectacular. The problem is, I completely can't write today. I keep adding apostrophes where they don't belong and not where they do, and spelling things incorrectly, not to mention typos. The only reason you can read this at all is extensive use of the backspace key. So, I'm afraid any smite related to editing would just bounce back on me today. I have lots and lots of sympathy for you, though. Tons of that. And chocolate.

Speaking of chocolate, WindSparrow, do you have more details on that OA diet, or do I have to be a good librarian and look it up? I feel so lazy today, and don't wanna be good!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, Cashmere. And Jilli.

Our wings are not tired

Sunrise Ford is rapidly losing points with me. It took twenty minutes of waiting before a lot attendant turned up to bring my car to me. Then when he pulled it around it hadn't been washed. My service writer called me at 10 this morning and told me the car was being pulled around to be washed and would be ready at 11. I came to pick it up at 2 and now I'm waiting another 20 mintues while they wash it.

Yes. This is a first world problem.
