It's not like she blew me off. She just left with another guy, that's all.

Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Aimee, if I go there now I won't be back in time to drive us to SF. IJS.

Aimee, I love your tag. Is it from the therapy or hair cut day?

Yes, ma'am! I love that my life is an open lj post.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I have trouble reading the menu with a straight face when it gets to the four-way and five-way part. Dirty, dirty chili.

Please note: The three-way doesn't seem to ruffle Allieann.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Today is laundry at Mom's day, but I would much rather be outside enjoying the orb that I was beginning to think was a myth.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Ok, I am wacky with the milk craving this week. Once in a while - by which I mean, one or two times a year, I will buy a quart or single serving bottle of plain milk to drown some Oreos in. Seldom do cereal for breakfast - more likely to just eat some straight out of the box. So Sunday, I decided for whatever reason I wanted a quart of milk, and a small package of Oreos. Teh Yum. That wasn't enough, I had to go back and do the same on Monday. Tuesday I gave in and bought a half gallon. I just finished it off. I've had a whole gallon of milk in four days, and I don't drink a gallon of milk in a year, usually. Wacky, wacky, wack.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Hmmm. It strikes me that since (a) the car is parked in front of the apartment for a change and (b) I am making three airport runs tomorrow, one of which is to collect Jilli that I should empty the trunk and back space to make room for luggage and steamer trunks and small ape-sized coffins.

Hey! I'm going to pack lightly. Okay, I'm going to try to pack lightly. Honest.
