Just got off the phone with a very chatty professor of Emily's. He said such wonderful things about her...I wish she could have heard them herself. Of course, I took notes, and have e-mailed her with all of his gushing and the news about her big research project and grade in the class.
I'm so proud of her!
What about...ooooo...what was it...Camp Washington Chili? I think that was the one.
Still there -- though it's in a shiny new building now, which is lame -- in the same location (right down the hill from me).
I spent so much time eating at the Skyline in Clifton.
I took billytea there! As well as Trudy. (Perkins, did I take you there? I can't remember.)
And me! You took me and Perkins there that one time. In the place. With the thing.
It was dangerous, I lived about 4 blocks from that Skyline so I'd walk there quite a bit.
For Drew....does this bring back memories?

Dude, really? I don't remember taking you to Skyline, probably because we always go for sushi.
Sighhh... Skyline...
Last year when I flew cross country I had a short layover in Cincinnati and got some Gold Star at the airport. I researched ahead of time and had the map in hand of my two gates and the chili.

No shit? That should totally be a commercial!
Shouldn't it?
I got one order to stay and one to go. I SHOULD be a commercial!
Morning, everybody.
That's it. Nothing to see here, move along.
Last night K-Bug's jv team had their year end party, even though they have 2 more games (their coach leaves first thing Sat morning to go to Pittsburg to start her pro softball season).
Anyway, the coach handed out certificate to each of the girls giving them various honors, some silly, some serious. K-Bug got "best defensive player". This was huge as this has been her first year playing shortstop and her coach is played short for Cal and is about to play short professionally.
Yes, I'm a proud mama.
