[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

My make up samples came today. They are very pretty. Does anyone have any advice on applying them.

Get a flocked sponge (Walgreens has them) or a Kabuki brush (weirdly, the Target house brand "bronzer" brush is pretty good, considering it's under $5). I've also used a regular foundation brush and a blush brush, but find that the sponge works best for me, with the brush second best.

There are many sites with application suggestions, and Alima's own looks pretty good: [link]

My method is to tip a small amount of minerals into the lid or a dish, and to press the flocked sponge into the powder, folding the sponge aronud the minerals and sort of squishing them in. I then start applying in short, downward strokes near my jawline, working my way up and towards the middle of my face. Always start with less than you think you'll need.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Happy Zmayhems Day!

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Why was it 99 degrees today? I am melting and currently have three beverages in front of me. The difference between the high and low today is supposed to be 41 degrees. ::faints::

Also I need a flocked sponge to try out now. But that is more of a personal problem, I realize.

For comparison, average high for today is 67. Previous record high was 81. It was 99!

::resumes melting::

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

sleepy. here in San Francisco. The sun was out and it was not cold and rainy, which was a big change. I swear my eyes were like a baby kittens trying to adjust to the sun.

Went to a yummy Italian place near Union Square (a couple blocks from our hotel called Kuleto's. We were so wiped. But yummy food was had and I had a really nice California wine called Malvasia Blanca from the Bonny Doon vineyard.

Tomorrow I shall go to Zazies with Hec and Tom's boss's wife.

Tom is still power super freaked about the basement stuff. I don't know what to do about that. But I will go to sleep now.

Mostly sloth and some complaining. Your basic Monday, really.
