Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I'm getting the pig!

Poor Suz. Are others making things difficult or is there just too much to do?

I *have to* leave work early on Weds in order to catch my plane. For that reason, I would love to start doing Weds reports now. I can't express in words how much it sucks that the data I need for the Weds reports won't be updated until late Tues night. Hmph.

AWESOME cake, brenda!

That cake is vera cute!

Today turned into a wasted day. I got a good chunk of my report done only to realize that one of the numbers - that goes through the whole thing - was frelled and the program is not letting me fix it. And I haven't been able to get ahold of my programmers. So, I'm about 6 hours behind schedule. I'll be working record hours tomorrow as it is the only day I can put in OT.

Well, the Dark Side always did have better food.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Cute cake, brenda!! And, cute girls holding cute cake.

{{Suzi}}

I was thinking of taking Thursday off work in order to start the vacation early, but I'm looking at my To-Do List which keeps getting longer and longer. I don't think it will happen.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Very cute cake.

I am now done with grading for this semester. I got through grading the final this morning, and now there is no more grading. (My plan was to study in the afternoon, but taking a nap seemed like a better choice, so I did that. And I just realized that I had coffee in the morning, and still had a nap in the afternoon, so I must have been really exhausted.)

::drive-by::

If I get through the next couple of days, I want a monkey cake as a reward for surviving.

It looks like -- maybe -- my work overload will resolve itself by the end of May, and I'll be free to read all the messages here then instead of skip, skip, skipping through the thread.
