Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Jars, an outer scrape or an inner something?

Jars - May 14, 2006 6:08:24 am PDT #4630 of 10002

I've no idea, that's kind of the problem. It's just... sore. There doesn't seem to be anything going on outside, anyway. I've tried googling, but all I get is pages on breastfeeding, which unless I've been very forgetful lately, isn't the problem. Well, breastfeeding and one very worrying page on pregnancy symptoms, which I'm choosing to ignore.

Jars, call your doctor, just in case. There are some rare, but nasty, types of cancer that can cause that sort of symptom. Which is really probably not what it is, but better safe than sorry and all that.

What is even happening?

Jars, not to be too TMI-y but er...has the boy been over eager? I'd get it checked by your doctor just the same, but it might be something silly.

Jars - May 14, 2006 6:24:03 am PDT #4633 of 10002

Cindy - not recently. I've been kind of sick the last few days, so the only over-eagerness he's indulged in has been rubbing my tummy.

I think I'll give it a few days and see if it gets better by itself, and if not I'll head to the doctor.

Jars, according to MSN's health doctor:

It could be due to a problem like an infection, local trauma to the nipple or a benign growth in the milk ducts. However, with any breast changes it is most important to exclude breast cancer.

Our wings are not tired.

This problem can be caused by irritation from your bra, mild infection, heat rash, that sort of thing. But ouch! I've had this from time to time. I'd get it looked at if you can't trace the cause. Because ouch!

on xpost, if you have been sick for the last few days it could be infection related. If so it should get better as you do.

t font="overwifing" Please don't. Please call your doctor, tomorrow. It's probably nothing, but if is something worrisome, you cannot count on the symptom being continual. Your breasts have been really reactive to the bcp, so it's probably just some weird, hormonal whammy, but I think you should call your doctor, tomorrow. If it's nothing, you can come back and mock and laugh and have a good time. If it's not nothing, you're taking care of it right away.

Ah, I didn't know that part. I can't stand hormones at all. Sore breasts were the least of the problem. See the doctor.

Hm, okay. Perhaps it would be wisest to get it checked. I just always feel like a hypochondriac going to the doctor, even if there is definitely something wrong with me.
