How did your brain even learn human speech? I'm just so curious.

Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

bored bored bored. home watching law and order on a saturday night. what's up with that??

But then again, I had a meeting at 10:30AM, and rehearsal immediately after, until about 6pm. Am kinda tired.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I walked all over San Francisco with JZ today. It was fun.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Raq, luggage-ma for you! You're a brave, brave soul. I've sworn off taking my kids anywhere other than the tri-state area (or driving distance) for at least another two years.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

::pops in:: Hello! I am relaxing. This is a very strange experience. It apparently involves cake. And tv. And beer.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Who's that girl with the cute new haircut?

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

It apparently involves cake. And tv. And beer.

Whiskey cake?

Yeah, you, cutiepie.

Whiskey cake?

A round of whiskey cake for my friends.

JZ was just miming rollerderby in the kitchen. She was shuffling her feet in place and had a look of comic ferocity and was knocking aside imaginary skaters.

It was kind of adorable.

Mmm. Now I'm thinking about tiramisu.

I'm thinking about making a new drink. Southern comfort+dr. pepper = down home classic. What do you think?

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Damn, whiskey cake sounds good. I was a very good low sugar girl for nearly two weeks 'til I went to Austin. I was even pretty good most of the time I was there. But my last day there blew it out (there was a party) and my cravings are back in full warp mode. Dammit.

I've had Diet Dr. Pepper and rum but haven't tried Southern Comfort ever.

Watching "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow". Beautiful film. The acting is too antiseptic, though.
