Doesn't winter seem more like archiving season?

Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Hil, I vote for going through the mail pile.

Just did that. (Well, most of it. There's a bit that fell behind the bookshelf that I still need to get to. This rush of organization was really necessary.) I now have two pieces of furniture that have nothing on top of them except what's supposed to be there. It's kind of scary.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Awesome, Hil!

And go Nora with the being approximately half done - over half by now, I'm sure.

I swept the leaves off the front deck. i think I'll just move my teetering pile of mail into the office and deal with it later. I'm going for superficially presentable at this point, not organized.

Eta: Prep H works on dark circles? I'd heard of it to get rid of puffiness

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Yay, Hil! Amazing progress.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

move out and draw fire

Driveby...19 hours later and I'm in the States. Starving and disconnected and tired, but here.

Did you ever wonder how it would play out to set Tarzan in the modern age, and have Lord Greystoke retured to England by airplane in economy class, after he'd been raised by apes? I now know.

Everybody who wasn't sitting right next to us thought Mal was wonderful and kept telling me so. Everyone in a seat he could reach wants us both dead. When I'd bodily prevent him from pulling the hair of the woman in front, he'd throw something at the guy to the side. Occasionally he'd hoot and pound his chest.

I must've run him up and down the aisles 10 times to burn off energy. He had a great time.

Oh, and my luggage didn't make it, so luggage-ma please?

"I've got a gun! I've got a mother-flippin' gun!" - Moss, The IT Crowd

My sympathies, Raq. Those economy class trans-atlantic flights are a real test of endurance, both physical and social.

Welcome!

Oh, and Fay, fifty lines for use of the 'A' word. Apparently you're in for some obedience lessons. Try not to enjoy them...

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Oh, and my luggage didn't make it, so luggage-ma please?

Oh, man, of course it didn't. I'm sorry. Luggage~ma to you. Where are you at in the States?

I have finished 3 pages of one essay and 3 and a quarter pages of another. Can I be done now?

ChiKat - May 13, 2006 12:37:50 pm PDT #4554 of 10002
That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Luggage~ma to Raq. But, you're here!!! And I get to see you in a few days!! Woot!!

Nora, almost done, sweetie. Just a bit more then you can go make out with your husband. (How's that for a reward system??)

I'm at work. Finished 2 things on my to do list. Still need to do 3 more. Blech.

The status is NOT quo.

Pete really enjoys making Fay wibble. Verily, he is a cruel man.

Thrive to spite them

Luggage~ma to Raq.

Happy Mother's Day (early)! Mom and I celebrated today and it was a really nice day. We drove down to the coast, went shopping, she got new earrings (for herself), got 2 pairs for her sister, and she took an earring down there to see if she could find another pair like it (because she lost one) and the shopkeeper/jewelry maker told her he'd make her a replacement. She picked out a pair of earrings for me to buy her and then I shooed her out of the store while I picked up some other stuff.

We had lunch. It was amazing. She had a grilled cheese sandwich -- Cheddar, Provolone, Swiss with tomato, bacon, thick slice pickles and red onion on rye bread. I had soup and salad. The soup was Potato Leek made with bacon and some kind of cheese that starts with a B --it's a herbed goat cheese.

Plus we bought books and stopped by the beach. It was fun.

Except this morning I knocked over a tiny bottle of perfume (which I got free) and it broke so I reeked of perfume most of the morning and I couldn't get it cleaned up before we left so my house reeks of perfume. I've got to open the windows to let everything air out.
