I can't even fit a table in my place.
Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I have what is lovingly called a "breakfast nook." But it is tiny. I use it as an office. I have a cafe table that seats 2 in my living room.
I have never had a dishwasher, though I would love one.
Sadly, I can't even fit a cafe table. However, I have a counter that I can put several stools in front of (if I ever get around to buying them) and a patio where I have an outdoor table and chair set. In LA, that works pretty well.
Timelies all.
I was very good and very productive this morning, and now I'm really not. I don't want to be at work. At. All.
I'm making my "New Apartment Wish List/Priorities." What am I forgetting?
Double sink?
Ow! Jess, no doing yourself injury just before I get to see you.
The lie-berrians won;t laugh at me if I ask them HOW to find a book will they?
t haven't been to a library in, like, 20+ years
My library has the card catalog on a server and you search it online ---either at the library or at home (or work or where ever). you can search by author, key words (in author, in title, in subject), etc.
VW's wish list is very close to my own. We have a dishwasher and our own washer and dryer in this place--first time we have had either in 10 years and it is HEAVENLY. We have an eat-in kitchen but no dining room. And wood floors would be terrific. This place has beige carpeting, which we both hate and is highly impractical with the dog and two cats.
We have a dining room, but the dining table is usually buried in a foot-thick sedimentary layer of sewing projects, books, and other paraphernalia. We have a kitchen big enough to waltz in, or so Jilli claims.
I'm not helping, huh?
And wood floors would be terrific.
Wood floors used to be number one. With my allergies, I just *can't* have carpeting on top of the pets. And the pets aren't going, so the carpet has to. Fortunately, wood floors are more common than not around here.
