Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I think I may order samples of Lily and Damask of the Alima makeup. I wanted to try some blush and maybe some eyeshadow too, but I have no idea what colors to pick.
They are $1, pick anything you think you might like. They sent me more colors than I ordered actually which I was glad for because I only ordered a couple of colors and I found more that I really liked. Also discovered ones that didn't work for me and I like knowing that before I buy full size. The lip stuff is quite sheer but I am kinda enthralled with it as well.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I love their Oasis (I think that's the one) green shadow, but I'm the freak who wears lime. It's not lime, I should mention, but a soft, warm green.

From your pictures, you may be pale enough for the 0s, but it's probably best to err on the side of caution--if the 1s are too dark, you can always use them for subtle contouring!

Cass, I love their lip stuff. It's sheer, but very nice. I'm addicted to Black Raspberry.

SJ, you may also want to pick up samples of the C1 and N1 colors. Like I said, it runs very pale.
I'm with Plei on this. Good to try both and see what feels better to you. They do run pale. Even the eye shadows are paler than usual which is kinda nice.

I don't like sheer lipstick at all, so I am going to stay away from those.

I have no idea how to contour. I need a makeover, I think. I wish I was going to the F2f because I would make someone who knows better decide what looks good on me and how to apply it. I used to be so much better at this stuff.

I unexpectedly loved the Cerise. And the Wine actually since it is so sheer. I am ordering those and then a few more samples.

Damn, I am whiny tonight. Please fell free to ignore me for the next few days until I figure out a way of this awful funk I seem to have gotten trapped in.

The cool shades of foundation come across as paler than the neutral and those are paler than the warms to my eye.

Things I know I won't use are: W-0 Sesame, N-2 Satin and Mirage eye shadow.

There are a couple more eyeshadows I need to try out and I need to figure out which of the other foundations work.

Anyone who wants can have them.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I love sheer lipstick, and black rasberry sounds like a good color for me.

Am I weird because i don't eat sugar? I mean, I use sweetner in my coffee, and I can't remember the last time I had a dessert or cookie or whatever. Maybe in a breakfast bar or something?

Cass, is mirage more lavender or silver? I can't really tell on my monitor.
