Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Brain worms. There's an epidemic of them.

They need to go away before I either eat everything in the apartment or spend money I don't have.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Brain worms. There's an epidemic of them.

Ha! My earwigs will kill them....

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

The f2f is the weekend of the 20th, right (or the weekend during which Saturday, May 20th occurs)? That's Julia's dance recital weekend. Not that I could go, but I'm trying to console myself with my reasons for not going.

Oddly enough, my little second cousin Julia is having her own dance recital on Thursday the 18th at the Herbst Theatre, just a few minutes' walk from the F2F hotel -- so, see, you could totally come to the F2F and still see Julia's dance recital, provided you aren't overly fussy about which Julia.

I'm just sayin', is all.

What is even happening?

Yes, but Julias are extraordinarily fussy about which Julia.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

My fireplace set has arrived at the Ace Hardware here. Must go fetch it. I will be pokey finally! It's gotta be safer than using the clicky stick to push flaming logs around.
