Can't even shout, Can't even cry. The Gentlemen are coming by. Looking in windows, knocking on doors. They need to take seven, and they might take yours. Can't call to mom, can't say a word. You're gonna die screaming but you won't be heard.

Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The Vanilla Ice and Hammer parts cracked me up the most--probably because of the repressed shame of having seen Vanilla Ice open for MC Hammer. At least En Vogue was there too. I'm not embarassed about that.

What is even happening?

Thanks, Aimee. I saw the link on LJ, at a time I couldn't watch it. So so funny.

And the best part about getting the link from a b.org thread? I know I'm not the only one who laughed, while also wishing I could edit it, so the songs/dances would be in the proper chronological order, since the bit is called "The Evolution of Dance."

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

because of the repressed shame of having seen Vanilla Ice open for MC Hammer.

I'm dealing with the repressed shame of being disappointed that he did N*SYNC, rather than New Kids on the Block.

Oh, and Hey Everybody.

Yes! I did wonder about Greased Lightning--does that go in the period of the movie, or of the movie's release?

Nope, definitely the right crowd for it not to be "just you."

wrod.

I have too much work to do, and I have to spend all day tomorrow at a conference in Atherton. Is 9:23 a.m. too early to give up on getting anything done and just surf the 'net all day?

I was going with Release date, in which case it was okay time-wise since Grease was 1978-ish.

Definitely. I think you should try to hold on until at least 9:25.
