It's best to get it checked out, Suzi. Finding a cause may help prevent them in the future.
My stupid sciatica has only gotten worse here and I'm having trouble walking even around the resort. Pain alternating with numbness shooting up and down my right leg. I had to skip a tour of Old San Juan and the rum factory and pretty much give up on any activities beyond lounging (diamond sandals are too tight).
I'm hoping the MRI reveals something that is treatable when I get home.

Yes. This is a fear.
I know, O Pain-Having Cashmere. But if you continue glancing Teppyward, you'll also see how totally treatable it is. I can lift weights (that's the only equivalent I can think of to lifting Big and Little Os), bellydance, fence, and have acrobatic sex.
It's totally fixable. And, generally, fixable without surgery. I was on the far side of the bell curve.

I don't think of myself as pale , but I am paleer than I appear. but since it has been years since I've worn make up - I can't even say how much living in CA has changed that. ( more sun, more outside - and once I tan, I tend to stay that way)
Itchiness is leaving, so I am going to assume it was missing allergy meds that tried to drive me crazy.
