The pictures are great, Calli! I like the one you said you'd probably give to your mom -- you look really happy in it.
My viens are very visible, even though I'm not pale. But they like to play hide and seek when it comes to my IV's. So annoying.
This is me, too, and I've never understood it. They're right there! All blue! But when I had to have an IV before surgery, the nurse tried three times to start the IV and couldn't get it, so I went into the OR stone stober. Not nice.

We have a crafts thread? Where have I been???
My parents just don't need to know things.
My philosophy for about 30 years has been "what my mother doesn't know won't hurt me."

Hee -- Minearverse is the unofficial crafts thread, because it seems to be the commonest off-topic topic.
I don't have particularly high blood pressure or anything (kind of the reverse), but sometimes I can see certain points pulse.
My bp is so low, the tech always takes 3 readings to make sure the equipment isn't broken. Pass the salt!
Calli is truly lovely and I agree that the 'mom's prezzie' photo is charming.
With my weekly IV's the nurses take turns trying to get one started. I never used to have problem - I think my veins just got smart.
I'm so tired of bruises on my forearms and poke holes. I look like a darned junky.
