Willow: Were there dolphins? Tara: Yes. Many dolphins at the pound. Willow: Was there a camel? Tara: There was the front of a camel. A half-camel.

Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Happy happy birthday, Karl! I hope you have a splendid day.

Is it feasible, from a seamstress POV, to take my cherry dress and cut off the bodice and add a zipper and waistband to the skirt, to make it into just, well, a skirt?

It is entirely feasable. I do it all the time, in fact.

I'm getting the pig!

She's a cutie, Aims! But I'm still grouchy with you because now I want this handsome black kitty.

Compassionately intolerant

A quick drive-by question coupled with a sincere apology and promise to catch up on the 250 posts I just skipped.

Fella and I are going to the masquerade ball tonight and instead of masks, I'm opting to do some facepainting around the eyes. Problem is, I've only ever done Kabuki makeup and don't have any feathery-renny designs. I've googled 'till my fingers turned blue and can't find anything helpful.

eta: Go Spidra you job-getter you! And...cute kittywitties!

Any ideas? All I really need is a nice illustration I can copy. I'm using two colors (plum and jade) and have a couple of nice bindi jewels to add.

Please to advise if you have any. Thanx!

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

What's wrong with Kabuki style? Is the masquerade Ren-themed?

Okay, just grouchy. Not *still* grouchy. That would be silly because I rarely have reason to be grouchy with you. Blame my undercaffeinated and a tad still sleepy brain.

He's so very handsome, though. And he's okay with other cats and dogs. And he's so very handsome. Which I already said, but he is. I have a thing for senior kitties in need of homes. Kittens are cute but I simply don't have the patience for them.

Did I forget to say Yay for job-having Spidra? I think I did. YAY Spidra! Go you!

And I got nothing in the way of help with make-up stuff. Hell, I barely know how to put on everyday make-up.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Happy birthday, Karl!

Wuv the kitties. As all my kitties are belong to Daniel, I think I should get a new set for me.

I love Kabuki style but our gown/suit are all renn-like.

You could draw some sort of Green Man design on the fella: [link]

And go for a solar motif yourself. Very classic Medieval/Renaissance.
