But any new clothing purchases for this month will have to be summery nice-casual stuff that I can wear for teaching.
This squared.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Someone should point at dresses I should wear.
What's your preferred vintage era/current style, and what are your longed-for colors?
My head is all splodey. Gonna try to eat something.
how do you measure yourself for dresses
sj, gimme a few minutes-- I know I've seen a measurement guide recently, but I can't think of where, so I must explore.

Right now, I'm falling back on black import store skirts and shelf bra tanks with a crochet or lace wrap on top. So, umm. Hmm.
Black? Body skimming but not hugging? Something slimming? Yet attractive? And with long and/or full skirts?
Eat something, VW.
Speaking of ebay dresses. I really really want this [link] , but I think the price is going to go too high.

Thanks.
This one is very similar to what I actually bought for Prom. Except the dress is a black with a beige vine print and an ecru lace overlay above the bust. A very flattering style and makes anyone look like they have a lot of waist. I just haven't figured out yet if I could put or need a crinoline under it.
It's totally Derby Day.
I taped the Oaks coverage yesterday - and I've been watching Derby Day coverage since early this morning.
