Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Fabulous T Shirt, Erika.

Apropos of nothing, my friend who's off back to the UK next week has handed her class of Year 1 children over to a new teacher who rejoices in the name of Monserrat DeVille. She's told the children to call her Mrs Monser. Naturally all of them are hearing and pronouncing it as Mrs Monster.

Mrs Monster DeVille.

Best. Name. Evah.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

and have decided on an outift for me!

Beej, we're going to have to see pictures of you all dolled up.

I for one welcome our new gothic lolita overlords, and hope the prom reflects this trend.

If she doesn't school you
No pedagogue will
She'll rap your knuckles

She's Monster, yes Monster DeVille

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I love that dress, Aimée. Very pretty.

I'm wearing one of those wide cincher belts today that Jilli linked to. I wish it were smoother, and didn't show hints of the skirt's waistline, but it'll do.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Ooooh! I am wearing my new BCBG shoes and goddamn, my toes are happy. They've been cooped up in closed-toed shoes and tights for too long.

ita, isn't that dress awesome?? I love anything that has a free hip measurement.

Plus David? I have super short hair...dark brown with artful strokes of grey (applied by nature) . Pictures will be shared.

Right on.

I love that dress too, but I'm worried that my too-heavy upper arms might be highlighted by the poof of the short sleeve. Love the pinafore over ruffles effect behind though.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Off-white bra with light blue panties lined in dark blue. I love the panty/bra check in!

I'm about to take my math placement test so that I might take my statistics class. Kill me now.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Morning, All.

SUCH cute dresses. None of them seemed to have sizes listed though. (Just as well, I've just been badly burned by a couple dresses that I bought online that were possibilities for Prom. One sent the wrong dress, and dress I wanted is long gone now, the other not even vaguely similar to anything that resembles fitting correctly). Apparently, I have no real idea of size, and it's just not meant to be. I'm bearing up okay, I think. I have stuff in my closet already, and it'll be new to all of you guys. (Though someone may be called upon to do the Wash/Kaylee scene from HoG with me. Wash, tell me I'm pretty.)

eta bra check in - cream colored sweater today, so no prints. Pale pink bra and black panties.

Always Anti-fascist!

But I'd feel silly telling you I'd take you in a*manly* fashion.
