And I wonder, what possible catastrophe came crashing down from heaven and brought this dashing stranger to tears?

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Changed clothes( found 10 dollars in my jeans) , rechecked the chair I had been sitting in and I feel better. But since I found $$_ I think I should go out to breakfast and then the store so I fool the Spiders into thinking I've left.

Yay! Talked to my dad a bit ago. I'm gonna make Mother's Day dinner for mom. I'm so excited!

Must get cleaning!

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Cass, I need this for my next tag, pretty please?
Heh. Of course.

Fay, that sounds like carb-y heaven.

Yay on Mother's Day dinner-age, vw!

I was reading the girly bits last night and realizing I was off the Bitch Cycle. Til I joined last night and suddenly the ooogy feeling all day and some of the emotional meltdowns made a lot more sense.

The cat and dog are currently sharing the papasan. This like *never* happens.

Ah, the bliss of them "getting along."

It's so quiet in here today. I'm gonna have to go do work or something.

Don't make me!

Don't make me!
Mom of Cass is reading me bits and pieces of news stories. Not the whole thing, just bits and it is easier for me to smile and nod than to keep asking for context. And nouns.

Should I go make toast and smash some avocado on it?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Yay Mother's Day dinner! I need to think of something nice to do for my mom.

beth, I hope the rest of your day is like the finding of the $$ and not the other thing.

I'm guessing that not being able to sleep last night and waking up with a headache (first I dreamt that I woke up with a headace - I stumbled down to Luke's diner and asked him if he'd dragged me out drinking without waking me up because I felt like I was hungover. Then when I actually woke up, still had the headache. Ick) are PMS related. Note to Communists - you don't have to soften me up with air strikes before you invade, I'm not putting up any resistance.

Just say Yes to toast!

I think I will have some toast, though no avocado.

because I felt like I was hungover.
This was me yesterday. After having had about half a drink the night before. Figuring out it was PMS late last night? Really explained a lot.

I have achieved toastification!

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

bah! I was a good sister and went up for my sister's birthday, bearing presents no less. Everything was fine until Sunday night when her cat attacked me. By Monday morning the hand was red and swollen; by Monday evening (having returned home and turned in the rental car) it was worse. At the emergency room they verified it was infected and pumped me full of antibiotics, sent me home with a prescription for more. The swelling's down, the redness is gone, the only thing that hurts now are the actual puncture wounds. I've asked my sister if she'd consider putting the cat on tranquilizers when I'm up there and she's said she'll talk to the vet and think about it.
