Good on you, vw! I actually went to church this morning, due to mom being in town. We went to the COOLEST church--All Saints in Pasadena. You may have heard of it--it's the church the IRS is investigating because of an anti-war sermon.
Anti-war? What were they doing--quoting that Jesus guy about turning the other cheek, loving each other, etc. What gall. What noive.
and while I agree with Cindy, that sex should not be a church focus, in some chuches , it becames the focus- which means the church has gone astray

I just got back from the Save Darfur rally. There were a lot of people, though not as many as I'd expected. I'm not sure what sort of turnout the organizers expected.
Good for you on going, though! I was supposed to go to one up in Boulder today and my car thought otherwise. I feel like an asshole for not going but I watched (still watching, actually) on cspan.
