"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Thanks, Abi. I am amazed that all of my furniture has fit into this place. The only problem right now is that the boxes of books are blocking my view from the tv to the computer. This is still not motivating me to unpack them yet.

Art Crawl!!!

The only thing that's missing from Plei's prediction is insanely cute.

I think that's because the high levels of cutitude of Princess Tickybox could not have been predicted - even by her future parent.

Yay SJ!!

Debet, I'm at Home Depot. I think that remodeling a condo and later building a house caused me to clock so many hours (and spend so much money) in this place that I get the heebie jeebies when I even see a HD. I am at the moment drooling over an awesome BH&G book about making outdoor spaces indoor-like., however, which is raising the other problem with this place...I want to buy things! Stupid not having money to spend. Hmph.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I am well-practiced at the wanting but not buying. Someday, I will have money. Not a lot of money, of course, but still.

You can at least read the book and get some ideas to take home.

What is even happening?

Yay, sj!

I think that's because the high levels of cutitude of Princess Tickybox could not have been predicted - even by her future parent.

Science FACT.

Always Anti-fascist!

Hi, all. Working weekend, but in a good way. I kind of have a taste for this campaigning bullcrap now. Despite calling it campaign bullcrap. Tomorrow I'll finish f2f clothes shopping.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

You know how there are "boyfriend/husband" seats in clothing stores?

Why DO women drag along the boyfriend/husband? Don't they know gay men?

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Maybe he needed clothes, too. Why make 2 trips? But, now, his clothes are bought, and you need to get yours.

Because books.

I'm so lucky -- both my dad and my husband are awesome at clothes shopping. My dad always liked to buy stuff for my mom, and when I was a preteen, he was the one to take shopping because a) softie when it came to buying me what I wanted and b) good taste.

My mom was really seriously ill when Stephen and I got married, and my dad was the one who took me to find a new bra on my wedding day, when I discovered the one I had wasn't going to work with my dress.
