Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Maria! I was thinking of wandering over to Chocolate Moose this evening ... only I got stuck at work (after the monthly Bataan death march meeting) so I've missed it. I do have some things I want to get there.

And someone was discussing making their own corset - Spidra? Anyway, I found this site.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Trudy, "open and notoriously" is good, it's just not in flagrante delicto. Latin can be sexy.

Toddson, I never made it either, but I'm going to run out of time very quickly. Our office is moving next to Union Station on May 8th to be closer to Capitol Hill. Less unique shopping opportunities, I say.

Well, but you'll have the shops at Union Station - and what a friend calls the "interactive" movie theater.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I ... have lost all motivation to work.

I want to look for cute dresses and new lipstick (because Chanel's Vamp, while almost perfect, is ... I think I'm bored with it). I do not want to Edit Things.

Our wings are not tired.

Oh dear, I'm out of the loop. Laura, why did Bobby need surgery in the first place?

Burrell, Bobby was born with a bald spot on his scalp a "Nevus Sebaceus" mole. It was a bit larger than a quarter. We felt it was best to have it removed before his teen years because a significant % of these develop bad cells at that time. We wanted to wait until he was old enough to stay still with a local and not be put under for the procedure. It could not have gone better. Both doctor and patient did a great job. Happy relieved parents.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

MAC's New York Apple is pretty, and is a bright dark red.

You know what I mean.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

I want to look for cute dresses

The Boy (yeah, carrots) just e-mailed me a link to a pair of red high-heeled mules with white polka dots that he strongly suggested I consider obtaining for myself.

I like a guy who owns his fetishes.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Thanks, Toddson. Actually, I live just 7 blocks away from this place. Which, in case all the F2Fers aren't already COMPLETELY overbooked, would make a good shopping trip. They've opened up an adjoining museum recently, too, although I haven't checked it out yet. Lacis is where I bought my supplies and also got some worthwhile help and advice on making my corset.

Jeez, Tep, we really ARE Dating AU versions of each other. Boy called me last night, set up date, asked me wistfully if I could wear fishnets tonight.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

The Boy sounds marvelous. Encouraging and enabling your footwear purchases is a fabulous fetish.

I want to look for cute dresses

I am craving pretty dresses and new corsets or waist cinchers like a mad cravey thing, but every time I look at our budget I have to go lie down for a while.

Though the real non-corset reason is lameness and cowardice, NSM budget. I even have some really pretty brocade I've been saving for a couple of years -- two yards each of lavender and (pale, not neon) lime-green brocade covered with dragonflies -- and a metric assload of corset stays and busks, but despite the successes of folks like Spidra and amych I'm horribly afraid of attempting to make one.
