OK, this Frontline program? Is seriously making want to punch people. I did hit the tv once. Threw a brush at it another. Saving lives or your fucking paper thin imitation facimile of christian or whatever morals, you fucking fuckhead?!

Really. Really. Hate. People.

I am reluctant to wish ill on people, even when I think them wrong. But I'm going there.

OTOH, there are some incredible people who pushed back. Them, I'll kiss.

Hah. Metaphorically. Though some of these peoples chutzpah would at least have me hugging.

Now I'm currently loving the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and I hate MicroSoft products. But, goddamn, that money is doing good. I see it again and again. Not going to make me like Excel or Word's logic, but...

This is an excellent program. I highly recommend people get their hands on it. It will piss you off. It will also give you people to admire. It will give you uncomfortable bedfellows (Helms+ Bono, anyone?)

edit: and oh fuck, it ends on a little girl asking her doctor why she has the virus, the doctor checking with mom, and saying that when she's older, they'll explain. God.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

sara, you'll be glad to know that Patty Stonesifer, who actually runs the foundation, is freaking awesome. I was at a small lunch with her last year.

I know, that killed me.

(Helms+ Bono, anyone?)

Bono's a capital "B" Believer. The Rock Star cover just hides it well.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

she and 7 other people in the courthouse staff were also suing Tempurpedic.

What over?

libkitty, I'm sorry I couldn't check online earlier today. I would have volunteered to be a "lower 48" delivery address for you. But it looks like Woot finally sold out an hour or so ago.

OK, I'd hug her. Hah. That foundation has done awesome things. It is a credit to her, for sure.

That doesn't bug me. I'm glad he's able to reach across some pretty high boundries to accomplish something. Unlike some (MY FREAKING DAD) I don't have issue with people pursuing good in the name of their faith. Sure, I get pissy when I see contradictions, cruelty, denial , ostracism and whatnot, but really, if the end seeks what I see as a wholly good thing, I applaude those that educated you such that your faith brought you there. I've rejected the quaker faith, but it reinforced in me some core things that I'll never lose. So's my dad by oh, how loudly he'll deny that. Shit, the man was a key player in Sanctuary. That was a big Catholic/Quaker thingie. And yet.... anyway. Yes, I just had a debate with him.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Why is this turning into group decision-making?!? I swear to god, this is the last thing I do with more than three other people.

Shouldn't have gotten a job!
