S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

I need reasons not to be cleaning my office, the way I am supposed to be.

Reason #1: you need to find a picture of a cute fuzzy animal. It's imperative.

Oh, hey, Jesse--did you get my email?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Recently? I did not. Maybe it got spamminated. Want to try again and I'll look in the filter?

Hi, Nilly, yes, it did! Thanks! A little bird told me about it, so I stopped by and used the marvelous search feature. Thanks for the wishes.

Hey everyone, hi. Wow, I haven't been in here in yonks. Love the color of your walls, Tom! It's gorgeous! There are two new-to-me names, hullo Ailleann and Strega.

Someone mentioned Tempurpedics - when I was in Small Claims Court a few months ago, there was a hearing over a Tempurpedic - the guy bringing the suit said he'd been transferred from another Comm'rs court because the Comm'r had to recuse herself because of conflict - she and 7 other people in the courthouse staff were also suing Tempurpedic. He brought it up almost as an aside, which made the Tempurpedic guy look like he'd just eaten a lemon.

Sheryl, did she accept? Did someone take photos? Great story!

Guess who has ac?!?

NOT ME.

Well, I have it, it just still isn't working. Another cranky morning visit due since no one entered the apartment while I was at work.

Sad thing is? It's 80 inside and I'm not a big sweaty lump. I'm adapting. Cats are still flat but they've finally noticed my poor man's mini-ac unit (frozen 3 QT jug of water behind a fan.)

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Hivemind question:

I don't pay much attention to cars, at least in the decade between one car and the next, but now my mother is asking me which of the current SUV/minivan-type cars are ones she can get into comfortably. She can't get into the ones that are high off the ground. She's finally thinking about replacing the station wagon, which is basically this [link] which has been falling apart for some years. She's had an old-school station wagon for 30 years, and she still wants something with some cargo room. Does anyone have any ideas? Any websites you can recommend?

My sister just bought a Mazda suv/van crossover thingie brand new that is pretty low to the ground, very nice, and not as massive or overwhelming as a van. With all the features it maxed out at $24k, so it was a pretty good deal.

ETA: I think it's the MPV. [link]

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

When I noticed that chasing the laser dot was making the cats pant I started giving them ice cubes to play with. Very entertaining.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Love my Saturn vue - But your mom is going to have to go around rying them all out. When my mom got one - she had to try them out not for getting in and out but for could she get far enough away from the airbag and reach the pedals.
