Sooner or later, you're gonna want it. And the second — the second — that happens, you know I'll be there. I'll slip in, have myself a real good day.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Yay Sean!

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Tonight's/Today's Woot is a Roomba. I know how many folks here have been talking about getting one. [link]

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

Do you think it will be easier to do the next time?

Sort of. Mostly yes. It's always gotten easier, the more I do it, though the fear is still there. However, I'm absolutely sure that it will still take all my focus and concentration every time, and I'll have to confront my fears every time, too. That part never goes away (though it gets a little easier over time, as well).

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Sean, can you do whatever a spider can?

Actually, Tobey Maguire pet my dog while I was out west.

Sean, can you do whatever a spider can?

Yes. Most significantly, I devour my mate after sex.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I'm absolutely sure that it will still take all my focus and concentration every time

That's not a bad thing. The days when I was rigging arena shows I didn't relax until I was on the floor again. Concentration is good for safety.

Kinda scary, but I just did my first woot. I couldn't resist $150 for my own robot vacuuming minion. Even though I already own a vacuum cleaner. Even though I would rather have bought a Scooba. But I think in the long run it's a good investment. Once I get housemates, I'll be looking to remove every disincentive there is to people keeping the house clean.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Yes. Most significantly, I devour my mate after sex.

I feel that this is more information than I needed about your and S's personal time.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Congratulations, Sean! Conquering a fear is no little thing.

Congratulations on your robot minion, Spidra.

Thanks, Herr Schmeh!

Congratulations on your arachnidom, Sean! I know from acrophobia. My co-worker took me up to the eight floor balcony of our building. Spectacular view. I was hugging the side farthest from the railing the whole time.
