GGGGGOOOOOODDDD MORNING!!!!
I almost feel bad for my co-workers when I have had a restful weekend. And despite how hard it is to get going, I love love love coming in early. I was in the office at 6:20. I had a seat for the whole commute, mostly empty sidewalks, cool weather, loverly view of the Empire State Bldg.
And then Steph's post to give me a good laugh at the crazy folk. bless their everlovin' precious little hearts.
Wow -- I want some of those drugs you're so obviously on.
Maybe I wouldn't be so grumpy, but even with the AC on I slept lousy last night, and woke up because my arm wouldn't let me find a comfortable position.
I'm back at work. This is wrong in so many ways.
Tom, were you in all weekend?
Today I get to spend most or all of the day at the U of IL Medical Center. This is for the FDA study I'm participating in - they need a bunch of pictures, etc. of what I'm like before the treatment.
Also, they're paying me $40 for my time.
tommy, is this for your eyes, or something else?
Yeah, it's for the eye. They finally got the study going.
They'd probably do the actual treatment in two weeks. I'll have a 2/3 chance of getting an actual treatment rather than a fake injection. If I do get the fake injection, I can get a real one in six months.
Tom, were you in all weekend?
I got back late Saturday night. I lost my ATM card during the trip, and I had to conserve cash all weekend until I can get to the bank later today.
OK, I'm off....
