I liked the Japanese version. I wasn't expecting the Americanized version to be anything like that movie, because are the Americanized versions of movies ever like the originals? Nevertheless, I have occasionally liked JLo. And I love Susan Sarandon. And I love ballroom dancing. And Will's cop boyfriend popped up, too, which I was not expecting. All of this might've made it at least tolerable. But no, it was truly excrable.

Hoo boy, I don't know if that would be a good thing or bad. Isn't it bad enough they probably subtitle ours and make them make sense while they're at it?
It surprised me, but I liked the American version of Insomnia better than the Norwegian original.

Bollywood has remade a number of American films over the years.
