No. You're missing the point. The design of the thing is functional. The plan is not to shoot you. The plan is to get the girl. If there's no girl, then the plan, well, is like the room.

I liked the Japanese version. I wasn't expecting the Americanized version to be anything like that movie, because are the Americanized versions of movies ever like the originals? Nevertheless, I have occasionally liked JLo. And I love Susan Sarandon. And I love ballroom dancing. And Will's cop boyfriend popped up, too, which I was not expecting. All of this might've made it at least tolerable. But no, it was truly excrable.

She will always hold a little piece of my Fly Girl heart.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

It got hot all the sudden, and of course I have no energy to install the A/C unit.

I liked the Japanese version.

Which is why I wouldn't watch the American remake. Those never go well.

I've now brushed my teeth and gargled a couple of times, and am still finding the odd popcorn kernel here and there. Do they actively burrow now?

I was going to try to argue, but I can't actually think of a good example where the Amercian remake has topped the original. Do other countries remake our movies? I'm laughing now thinking about the French version of Do The Right Thing.

Hoo boy, I don't know if that would be a good thing or bad. Isn't it bad enough they probably subtitle ours and make them make sense while they're at it?

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

It surprised me, but I liked the American version of Insomnia better than the Norwegian original.

Do other countries remake our movies?

Bollywood has remade a number of American films over the years.
