Why do movie stars lose their minds when naming their children?

Vaughniston is on the cover of this week's EW. I am alarmed by how thin she is. She wasn't that thin on Friends.

Also, I would like a bellini. And a mimosa. Hmmm, maybe I should have brunch tomorrow.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I have to work tomorrow. Possibly a mimosa would help.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

So, I posted over in Bitches, but no one seems to be there right now. Either that, or they just don't care that I saw a bear today, in the wild. Ok, I was in a car, but the bear was in the wild. And it wasn't just a brief flash. He kind of sauntered along the road towards us while we frantically rolled up our windows. It was just a black bear, but it was the biggest black bear I've seen that wasn't stuffed. Also, we were through with our hike, so it worked out perfectly!

Hmm. A mimosa sounds good.

Perhaps it wanted a bellini, too.

Possibly. I must admit that I'm not sure what a bellini is, but it was pretty warm here today, so if it's cool....

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

libkitty, I can't process seeing a bear in the not-quite (since you were driving) wild. They're deepest darkest forest or zoo to me.

I lived in Canada. Hell, I live in California. It shouldn't be that way.

Okay. Will prep to leave for shopping. Mimosa fixings for 10 chicks--three bottles of sparkling wine, you think?

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

A bear, libkitty? Does Stephen Colbert know about this!?

We need to hold a Chicago'istas Welcome Shrift type event.

That would be cool.

Okay, so the pizza place I ordered from called to tell me they were having problems with their ovens, and would I mind thin crust instead? I told 'em to send it along. As an apology for the delay, they also tossed in half a cake. I was all "Woo, SCORE!" until I accidentally dropped some sausage, and the roommate's cat pounced on it and made scary gremlin noises.

I may need backup.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I want to see a bear. And a moose. Not necessarily at the same time.

The Brangelina baby is supposedly named Shiloh Nouvel.

I can just imagine the reactions of his family to that name.

the roommate's cat pounced on it and made scary gremlin noises.

Don't feed it after midnight.
