Illyria: We cling to what is gone. Is there anything in this life but grief? Wesley: There's love. There's hope...for some. There's hope that you'll find something worthy...that your life will lead you to some joy...that after everything...you can still be surprised. Illyria: Is that enough? Is that enough to live on?

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

JZ, relish it, for no matter your feeding choice, the post-baby texture change is pretty much the opposite of that.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Ugh. Home from work. Well, I got home about ten and took the dog out (poor baby). Ran into a friend I had had tentative plans with anyway, so we just turned 'round and went to the bar with dog in tow. (She's a big hit there, which is nice.) Man oh man did I need a beer after the past couple of days.

(My boss, when I first saw her after SF: "Wow, you look so rested and relaxed!" Bet that's gone now.)

Have to say that when I was leaving work I was very glad to be back in a city were I can just step into the road with my arm up and a cab pulls over. Kind of surprised it was so difficult in SF.

Yeah, that sounds about right. They are cheaper, though.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Someone hasn't watched quite enough Eddie Izzard...

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Cass and I are watching this week's House. This is not ok

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Which bit, exactly, Trudes? You've got to give us some guidance on where you are in the ep.

Until this point in our lives "bust a nut" was a euphamism.

And why the hell are you awake?
