Kaylee: Is that him? Mal: That's the buffet table. Kaylee: Well how can we be sure, unless we question it?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

amych is right about the prehensile tails

Dude! The incessant reading and rereading of every animal book in my elementary school's library has finally paid off after all these years!

Whose rules would be better to be trapped by? I mean, once you define trapped in a sense deserving of sympathy yet applying to my situation.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Everyone would be better under my rules

That's one of her rules.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

So you're saying that one should be trapped by your rules instead? Do these rules involve pink and tiny fists of fury?

Unrelatedly, they really need to let me go home. Stimulants wearing off.

F2F for the faceblind: [link]

Prosopagnosia is the scientific term for faceblindness. As Beware of the Blog's Iowa Firecracker describes it, "for some reason, my fusiform gyrus isn’t hooked up properly and I can’t recognize human faces." She goes on to mention that she has been interviewed for an upcoming documentary about this rare condition, and that she met another faceblind for the first time, a guy named Glenn, who administers an email list for faceblind people.

...

So Glenn and I met in a coffee shop, and drank some coffee, and he was very nice and a very interesting guy. When I try to remember what he looked like, I think of a sea captain on an old whaling vessel, I guess because of his facial hair or because of what he was wearing that day, and I wonder what he remembers of me.

I am not all that great at recognizing faces. Sometimes I make a conscious effort to study the face of someone if I think I'll meet that person again....

My rules don't trap people, they set them free.

Then your rules can't be better to be trapped by than mine.
