So I'm watching Alias on a bit of a time delay and my brain is thinking of all the dumbass things they could try to throw in.... like
Vaughn is bad AGAIN, but this time for real and he is the long lost ancestor of Rimbaldi!! Then Spymama turns out to be AMERICAN and GOOD, just a really deep cover agent...and Sloan is a ROBOT!

After all these seasons, I've finally figured out why the Sloan actor seems familiar. He looks like a shorter, skinnier, older version of the dad in a family we were good friends with growing up. The green glasses this ep tipped me off. Spencer had a similar version in a clear yellowish brown version in the eighties. Spencer is an artist, which is why I kept thinking Sloan should break out the acrylics and litho presses.
I was wondering for a minute if Not-Fred was some sort of ultra-secret super deep cover triple agent actual good guy!
