I couldn't believe it the first twenty times you told us, but it's starting to sink in now.

Always Anti-fascist!

What? I'm more lost than my relatives at a con...who died bloody that you want my opinion about?

Shit's all sorts of different now.

There's nothing that's going to convince me pants that end mid-calf are a good idea for me.

Didn't you once think this about the color brown?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I could not be alone in my pain, people!

erika, check the one red paper clip guy -- he's looking to trade something for a year's worth of rent in Pheonix.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I think that cutting off at mid-calf makes most people look like they have short stumpy legs, and that seems like a weird thing to volunteer for.

I think it depends on the shoes. With heels, the calf is elongated, and so pants ending there can create the illusion of more calf, and more height.

Gauchos with flats, OTOH, are right out.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Didn't you once think this about the color brown?

I still do, really. The stuff I have in brown is either because I couldn't find it in a proper colour, but the essence was too cool not to own, or something I need so I can wear the aforementioned coolness.

Sometimes I'm keen's bitch.

eta: Dammit, Sue got to the link before I did

My brain is still cued to think the ankle's within scant inches of the pants hem. Boots, especially with heels, make the ankle even more indistinct to me.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

And on other people, well, I kinda respect free will, but I think that cutting off at mid-calf makes most people look like they have short stumpy legs, and that seems like a weird thing to volunteer for.

True, that.

Now see, I got lots of compliments when I wore mine with my low-top chucks.
