Judging others based on appearance is an important part of human life
Truer words were never spoken.
Moving to Ireland sounds so amazing. What are you going to be doing there?
A private message for SA: har 'chuile ní: bí dílis duitse féin
With lurves, and smoothcies.
Ireland sounds very cool.
(I'm currently in a "Must be somewhere other than here! Now!" mood. But, furthest I'm going anytime soon is Bethlehem Pennsylvania. As far as I can tell, not anything terribly exciting there, though there is a bookstore that's been operating since something like 1750, where I'm sure I'm going to spend half the money I'm making.)
Also, feh. Did something wrong to my wrist, and now it's back into the writst brace. which probably means I shouldn't be typing, but I'm bored and it's hurting too much to get to sleep.

Definitely for four months, and then I'm supposed to go to Britain for another six after that; beyond that, who knows?

I have no idea, which is the best part. I have my ticket, I have my visa, and that's as far ahead as I'm planning; I'm totally going in open, letting whatever happens, happens, and taking whatever opportunities come. It's so freeing.
Gus, if I could read Gaelic, I would totally say thank you enthusiastically. Make it welsh and we can talk. :)

Hah! Although, Grover, really? Bert/Ernie, maybe.
Congratulations, SA!
I have eaten oatmeal for dinner. It's funny how when you're sick the usual food has no appeal, and I don't have any chicken soup defrosted.
My nephew cheered me today by reciting Tiki Tiki Tembo to me on the phone. The books I send are shaping his little mind! Hooray! So cute.
SA, that sounds very exciting. Does your visa let you work?
Oh, that's so cute, Allyson.
My cupcakes are cooling. I hope I can get them cool enough to glaze tonight, because with the 7am meeting tomorrow morning, there's no way I can do it then.
I should also have dinner. But that seems like effort.

You doesn't want to be Welsh in Ireland. Trust me on this.

Aw. He's fallen into the well!
I meant to tell you, I got my nephew
Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus
and gave it to him last week. We had a lot of conversations like "Oh, he wants to drive the bus. Are you going to let him drive the bus?"
"Yes."
"But remember, the bus driver said we can't let him drive the bus. So do we let him drive the bus?"
"...Yes?"
Mostly he was fascinated by how angry the pigeon got. Understandably.
And then he was overtired and wouldn't eat dinner and lord knows I'm in no position to judge anyone's parenting skills, but I will anyway: my SIL is a loon. I don't think any of that was related to the book, though. The important thing is that he likes me best. So, thank you for the book recs!
