Buffy? I like that. That girl's so hot, she's buffy.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

I just knew the Batman bit would get some discussion.

we were given a form to write out, phonetically, exactly how we wanted our names read.

We had this in college. My high school was pretty small. I don't remember who read the names, but I'm pretty confident they knew everyone in the graduating class well enough to get our names right. I didn't walk for grad school. I graduated in December and wasn't about to fly clear across the country to walk. I hardly knew anyone there, and although the program was outstanding, Syracuse is the armpit of New York.

Couldn't watch the CNN clip because I have Linux and have not figured out how to run Windows Player things (or much of anything else). I'm about to give up and go over to the Evil Empire, but, alas, I am too lazy and it is eeeeevil. I might as well just give up any geek cred I ever had right now.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

My high school was pretty small, too, and the person reading the names had my name written out phonetically in front of her, and had known my family for at least 10 years. She still pronounced it wrong.

I would not want any guidance from either of my parents on anything pictured here. IJS.

Oh, that's sad, Hil. My first name is hard, but they got it right at both high school and college graduations.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm pretty sure it was last week, up against the TAR and ANTM finales. Hence my planning to watch the rerun.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

The show that aired Wednesday was only 1 hour. The finale on Monday is 2 hours. I don't think any of that is a repeat, but I may be confused by all the fancy network scheduling.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

ABC says:

May 22, Monday @ 8/7c
SERIES FINALE: Reprisal
Sloane takes Marshall and Rachel hostage in order to discover a crucial clue to Rambaldi's ultimate endgame, as Sydney, Vaughn and APO race to stop him.

May 22, Monday @ 9/8c
SERIES FINALE: All the Time in the World
Sydney and Jack must find a way to keep Sloane and Irina from putting their deadly plan into action.

Does this mean I'm missing one before that, or not? Am confused. It's not helping that I can't really remember what the hell's going on anyway, so I guess that means it doesn't matter, huh.
