we were given a form to write out, phonetically, exactly how we wanted our names read.
We had this in college. My high school was pretty small. I don't remember who read the names, but I'm pretty confident they knew everyone in the graduating class well enough to get our names right. I didn't walk for grad school. I graduated in December and wasn't about to fly clear across the country to walk. I hardly knew anyone there, and although the program was outstanding, Syracuse is the armpit of New York.
Couldn't watch the CNN clip because I have Linux and have not figured out how to run Windows Player things (or much of anything else). I'm about to give up and go over to the Evil Empire, but, alas, I am too lazy and it is eeeeevil. I might as well just give up any geek cred I ever had right now.

My high school was pretty small, too, and the person reading the names had my name written out phonetically in front of her, and had known my family for at least 10 years. She still pronounced it wrong.

I'm pretty sure it was last week, up against the TAR and ANTM finales. Hence my planning to watch the rerun.
gotcha. my DVR already has it picked up to tape. I tink that will be the last one I have to catch.
The show that aired Wednesday was only 1 hour. The finale on Monday is 2 hours. I don't think any of that is a repeat, but I may be confused by all the fancy network scheduling.
