See, I always thought that gauchos were mid-calf length, and culottes were just below the knee, and palazzo pants were floor length. I think I may be over specific, because I distiguish between capri's, pedal pushers and crop pants, too)

I always thought that gauchos were mid-calf length, and culottes were just below the knee, and palazzo pants were floor length.
In my rulebook (everyone please adopt it, stat), palazzo pants are basically longer gauchos, but culottes are made with less fabric, and don't flow like the first two.

Palazzo pants always looked good on me, and I mourn their lack in my life.
I don't want them messing with the PoTC rides.
I was bummed back in 2000 to find out that they no longer had a photo op at the end of the ride, where you could dress up in pirate-y garb and get a picture taken next to a PotC pirate mannequin. My sister and I had one taken back in 1982 and were hoping to get an update.
I'm pretty sure the ones that look good on me are clamdiggers, but other than that, I have no opinions about what the various cropped pants should be called.
Palazzo pants used to look great on me as a size 10 -12. As a size 18W they make me look short and fat (or do not flatter my short and fatness)
OK, now I'm confused again. I was thinking about the pants that basically look like regular trousers, just shorter.
