Jayne (Husband): Oh, I think you might wanna reconsider that last part. See, I married me a powerful ugly creature. Mal (Wife): How can you say that? How can you shame me in front of new people? Jayne (Husband): If I could make you purtier, I would. Mal (Wife): You are not the man I met a year ago.

HAH!

Well, that should make a fair number of people happy.

I can't quite keep track of who all is dead or psyche!not dead in all the season finales.

msbelle, you had 2 days of flying? Urg.

yes. 2 hours yesterday and 5 hours today. I am hoping for a BK in the airport.

Yech. Where are you now (if you don't mind my curiosity about where on earth they'd fly you where you couldn't get a same day flight to NYC)?

And if it is somewhere absurd like Sioux Falls...well, no BK there but there is a penny smasher!

I am in Canada. I was in Prince Rupert yesterday and flying out of Vancouver today.

I just checked and there are BKs in the terminal. Bless.

This is the best thing about the Vancouver airport:

That's neat! Though msbelle probably thinks the presence of BK is the best thing. She's funny like that.

interesting. I saw lots of Bill Reid art at a museum yesterday. I am becoming obsessed with the flat back frog image used at burials. And my bear fetish facination continues. I bought a small jade frog, but it is too big to carry around in my pocket, like I'd like. Maybe at the airport I can find something.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, that's a cool piece of artwork.

msbelle, can you wave to my best friends? They're both in Vancouver.

It's been a long time since I've been in Vancouver. I'd like to go back, but first I'd have to get in touch with all those people I've lost touch with out there.

ETA: Though the last time I remember the Vancouver airport it was still under renovations, so if they have moving sidewalks, the Spirit of Haida Gwaii might be my second most favourite thing there, because moving sidewalks are one of my most favourite things ever!
