Perkins, I'll be there tomorrow, planning on getting there in the morning and hanging around more or less all day. Thanks for waiting for me, but if you get impatient you can deliver it tonight.
Sorry, TB, I was unclear. The current situation is we live in the Bay Area, with a California cost of living, but Henry works remotely - his company is in New Orleans and he gets a Louisiana salary. The company is in bankruptcy, so DH put out feelers for local jobs and got this offer. I know how the money side of it would impact us - it would be a big improvement. Which makes me suspicious. So I'm looking for scuttlebutt on MobiTV in case anyone here has worked for them or knows anyone who has worked for them who has gotten screwed, or anything like that.
MobiTV is pretty new so I don't know how easy it'd be to find out about their culture. As I recall from an article in the SFChron, it's an wealthy entrepreneur who started the thing. I'd be looking seriously at the idea and seeing whether you think the product will actually go anywhere or not, unless you don't mind going for the ride and just finding another job if the product doesn't take off.
MobiTV is right nearby in Emeryville.
Man, there really has to be a TV moratorium on "Hallelujah."
Thanks, Spidra, that helps.
-t, I won't be there until noonish, so I think we should give it to her together before they head to alcatraz.
Sounds like a plan, Perkins.
I'm sorry, ita.
Man ita, we're going to have hire ninjas to take out this week for you.
And my manager has me conferenced in a call from which I need information to complete this project plan.
And then there's another project plan to do after that.
I don't mind the work--I mind that it took everyone this long to get me my info.
I have been promised an Alias bike signed by Victor Garber. ONE CALL PEOPLE!
I am the auction goddess. Fear me.
