Every planet has its own weird customs. About a year before we met, I spent six weeks on a moon where the principal form of recreation was juggling geese. My hand to God. Baby geese. Goslings. They were juggled.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Random thoughts from my day: One of the people I talked to at the interview used "criterion" correctly, which pleased me greatly.

Also, I was at the library, and wanted to see if I could use a computer, but didn't know the setup at that branch, so I was waiting in line at the reference desk. In front of me were an older middle-class looking woman, and a woman who seemed homeless (although who knows what either of their situations actually were -- we just made an unlikely-looking trio), and all three of us were asking about the computers. All three of us were being held up by the librarian trying to help a Chinese woman who was looking for a book on immigration and naturalization, but really barely spoke English. They pretty much worked it out. At least, I hope the Chinese woman got that what she wanted had to be ordered... I love the library!

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Boston Legal: that may have been the hottest not-kiss ever.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Boston Legal:

So, who were the involved parties?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It continues to be this week. I am displeased.

Job hunt on the brain?

Gnargh. I wish I could go drinking midweek without it making the rest of the week even worse.

Resume Me

Ha ha! That's hilarious. I have a lot of those, actually. I'm basically unable to type anything that begins "devel" without typing "development."

Yeah...I get as far as "imagin" and it ends up "imaging."
