Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I'm leaving work early to meet with my mortgage broker. (no idea yet if that's good news or bad news, but it's something! and it's undeniably leaving work early.)

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I didn't have to talk to my idiot project lady today.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

in 20 hours, 27 minutes and some seconds, I'll be in San Francisco.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

The worst problem with my pregnancy right now is that I need to gain more weight, so I have many weeks of absolutely guilt-free face-stuffing ahead of me.

Plus, the glorious migration of Buffistas to the Bay Area has already begun.

Ann, that's a ferret.

I'm calling a Good News alert.

I get to see the FA Cup (English soccer/football) final tonight. It's a big deal, and my team is playing.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

T-minus 30 hours and change before Vortex and I (and Deb, possibly) have dinner at Monkey Noodle.

Also, T-minus 33 hours and change until Vortex and I are drunkenly screaming "LEGENDARY!" at each other and high-fiving before we take another shot.

I find this mental picture hilarious, personally.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

My sister's loaning me $50 to get me over my financial dry spell this month, and she doesn't want me to pay her back. Instead, she asked that I pay for dinner once when I see her and her husband-to-be in Las Vegas this Thanksgiving, which I was going to do anyway! And I didn't even ask for it!

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I may not have to find a new job for another year.

A new neighborhood restaurant I tried a few weeks ago (and loved!) will be reviewed in the NYT tomorrow, and I'm strangely excited. Two stars, baby!

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Um, my basement is almost dry? (Well, it's good news to me!)

And I'm going to SF, too!
