Hm. The part that irritates me the most is the placement of the apostrophe. Unless they've only got one pirate, in which case it's more of an exhibition than an adventure.

Also, I got the distinct impression that the pirates are the bad guys. Where's the fun in that?

Biiig doggy meets little baby!

ETA: I did get a bit freaked out over the second pic, but the last one is adorable. Also, I never had dog meets kid issues as a little one, so I'm more on the "oh, so cute!" side instead of the "idiot parents trusting a dog around their kid!" side.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Still mind-boggling.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The second picture really does crack me up. The baby looks perfectly cheery in the ensuing pictures, so with the thought of harm out of the way, I really want to howl.

Cute dog.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

We have friends with a 9-month-old and a big mutt dog. The dog will let the baby do ANYTHING to her. They took a lot of precautions when they brought the baby home, but they said, right from the first day, the dog seemed to know this was "her" baby and guards over her. Mostly the baby likes to climb and lie on her, and use her to hold onto when she is practicing standing up.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Nice of congress to pass the changes in bankruptcy laws with requirements for credit counseling BEFORE taking care of this little problem.

I'm getting the pig!

OMG I'm in love with that dog, Kathy. The baby is cute, too.

Yowza. I'll congratulate you when I get over this overwhelming envy.

Which should be sometime after Memorial Day, oddly enough.

The dog will let the baby do ANYTHING to her.

That's the way we kids were with our first dog Ginger, an English bulldog. She was the perfect Nana-type, including serving as my mom's baby monitor (pre-monitor days, in the mid-60s) and letting her know when my sister and I were waking up from our naps. Mom still marvels over that to this day, because she never taught Ginger to do that. She had no problems with us kids hanging on her/laying on her/whacking her back in our efforts to pet her.

Now, the dog we had as teens, Boots, was definitely not an infant/toddler-friendly dog. In fact, the one time my little cousin Bobby came over when he was about 18 months old, we ended up having to put Boots into the bedroom until they left because she got irritated by Bobby's fascination with her and got a bit growly (the only time she ever got upset with someone).
