Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Yay!

Truthout is now reporting that Karl Rove has been formally indicted on charges of perjury and lying to investigators. An announcement is said to be forthcoming from Special Prosecutor Fitzgerald this week.

Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald spent more than half a day Friday at the offices of Patton Boggs, the law firm representing Karl Rove.

During the course of that meeting, Fitzgerald served attorneys for former Deputy White House Chief of Staff Karl Rove with an indictment charging the embattled White House official with perjury and lying to investigators related to his role in the CIA leak case, and instructed one of the attorneys to tell Rove that he has 24 hours to get his affairs in order, high level sources with direct knowledge of the meeting said Saturday morning.

Robert Luskin, Rove's attorney, did not return a call for comment. Sources said Fitzgerald was in Washington, DC, Friday and met with Luskin for about 15 hours to go over the charges against Rove, which include perjury and lying to investigators about how and when Rove discovered that Valerie Plame Wilson was a covert CIA operative and whether he shared that information with reporters, sources with direct knowledge of the meeting said.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Can't wait to see Jon Stewart's cabbage patch dance of joy.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Hope this is right. But Truthout has been wrong on indictments before.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I'm hanging up my Fitzmas stocking just in case.

Yeah, but not leaving the cookies out until it's formally announced.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I just watched Hustle for the first time. I liked it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Isn't it nifty, Perkins?

I'm becoming disturbed that I'd never been disturbed by night paralysis. My entire response is "Oh. That again."

My survival instinct is about nil. When they say "the life you save might be your own" they weren't talking about me. The life I save would more likely be someone else's.

It is interesting to see it's a phenomenon, though, and even more to see the things that are spun around it. If the world were populated by multiple mes, it seems we wouldn't have cool folklore.

If you order something from Amazon and have it shipped via next-day shipping, is there a time guarantee? Like, say, delivery before noon?
