Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

-t is me. I'm never limp after those, I'm rigid and often pull a neck musscle trying to sit up too fast. Hate, hate, hate that.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I dreamt that my car fell apart. Like, I was hauling around the empty corspe of it -- it lacked two doors, and all the tires.

And my dead cat Solomon was missing. And actually, ita, I think you --and Xander -- were in my dream too. I prolly pulled you in from L.A., and your shitty dreams are all my fault.

Blame me! (But please don't hurt me -- I've had a shitty week.)

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Pull a neck muscle? Ow! And also, maybe that's why my neck is always sore...

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

So. Much. Dust.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Fine, Erin. This one time, you get a pass.

It's weird--I do intermittently wake up and can't move. Which isn't something I think about much, probably because it's really freaky. I feel all sucked into the bed.

But it's never happened with the heart thumping before, yet, just no fear. Except when I started wondering why my heart was thumping so hard.

ita, maybe you were dreaming of training, and all that adrenaline got dumped into your system.

ita, have you ever been checked for mitral valve prolapse?

I have a friend who trained real hard all the time, was always at the top of his game. He twitched like a crack ho without her fix when he slept. I found it very charming.

Now that I'm training a lot, I've noticed I do it too, when I'm half awake. More often than not, I'm kravving in the dream.

have you ever been checked for mitral valve prolapse?

No. Am I going to google and freak my shit out?

No. It's fairly benign, but sudden heart palpitations are one of the symptoms.

Interesting. I googled it, and it was one of those "Well, who knows?" reactions. I mean, some of those do apply to me, and others (low exercise tolerance) certainly don't.

I do get sudden heart palpitations (usually when awake) from time to time, but I figured that everyone did.
