Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Oh sarameg, that's such good news. Yay Mister Kitty!

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Strega - maybe. I'm now running into another problem. I've got a perfect flight for her to NY - a non-stop in her price range. But because it is a non-stop it only shows when her return trip is a non-stop. As soon as I book her return trip from BWI or Richmond or even Reagan National, the flight to NY disappears because apparently if Orbitz can't honor a request for a non-stop return it won't honor one for a non-stop going. Any Orbitz experts?

Thanks, Jilli. He's currently trying to make a lap for himself while I sit on the balance ball. Aand now he's gone, with a huff.

I'm, of course, a little frustrated we don't know what started this, but at least we know what can head this off and I know what to watch for. I'm still a little shaken, given he's 13ish. I've had to face things and decisions on my own that I'd rather pretend don't exist (btdt with family pets, but denial is a pleasant place! And these are my kitties alone, I'm the one left to make calls.)

You know, I hope I don't post about stuff like this for a long, long time. Hi Denial!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I've never successfully booked an open-jaw ticket online, Gar -- you'd probably be better off calling the airline. (Or Orbitz's customer service line, if they have one.)

Typo, you can always make note of the different flight numbers and call the airlines directly. When I did a 2 destination roundtrip, that was how I did it.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That is excellent Mister Kitty news, sara!

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Mister Kitty news: he's good to go!
That is such wonderful news, sara! Glad he gave the techs fun stories to cheer you up as well.

Thanks, Jesse & Cass!

OK, one funny to come from all this. He's lost a fair bit of weight, and that combined with inflating him with fluids under the skin means that when he curls up, his loose skin puddles around him. It's a true cat puddle!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Yay for mr. Kitty!

Thanks, Perkins! (and everyone really. I'm getting lazy.)

You know what's really gross? When Devi sneezes on your ankle and there this (gross) 2 foot string of yellow snot connecting her nose to your ankle. Pretty sure it's just a cold or allergies. She's normal otherwise. That changes and Mt. Washington make even MORE money off me.
