It's not like she blew me off. She just left with another guy, that's all.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Call the 800 number, Shrift. They can be surprisingly helpful and call the truck.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

OH GOD I HAVE 40 MINUTES TO KILL AND I JUST WANT TO LEAVE NOW.

ITA.

Well, I gotta send something off to a client, but then I'll have 30 minutes left to kill....

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I have 3 hours and 46 minutes to kill.

What are people doing this weekend?

I'm going into SF and see JZ and her baby belly tomorrow, and then spend the rest of the weekend telling myself I should be cleaning for F2F company.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I'm here for another 1 hour 45 minutes yet. This 9 to 6 shift is annoying. Especially since the phones seem to go dead between 4 and 4:30.

Same as he was this morning, as far as I know! (= seems to be normal, but probably needs his insulin dose adjusted. )

Part of the reason I'm stuck is because it would make no sense for me to leave now because I'd just have to turn around to pick him up at the vets' (it's sorta halfway between work and home.) I've got a couple errands I'll run before I pick him up, but that still leaves me with just under an hour to waste.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

It just occurred to me that if I go down to school tomorrow, not only will I likely get more work done, I can make copies of all the stuff I need for the stupid fraud thing on the office machine without getting busted. So I guess I'm doing that. Not sure what else.

God, my life is awesome.

I think I'm going on recreational house tours. If I get my ass up early enough.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Am very sleepy. Had to get up from my desk at work a few times so I wouldn't fall asleep there.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

What am I doing this weekend?

Working. Planning my packing list for the F2F. Giving the Devilbunny a bath. Working some more. Clean the house. Work even more. Perhaps have a hysterical meltdown that I'll never get all the work done in time. Then some more work.

You know. The usual.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I am home. Headache is finally somewhat at bay, but I am trying to decide if going to the gym and/or dying my hair will bring it back full force. I need to do both things and hate to waste a sick day with actually being, you know, sick.
