I think MT's asscrack was totally accidental. It's a hazard of having narrow hips with the current ultra-low-rise jeans. I prefer low-rise myself since I'm like Allyson and have to take drastic measures to keep my waist band and bra straps from meeting. But since I have narrow hips, I have to wear belts or I'm constantly hitching up my britches.

And frankly, how often can you find blue shoes that match anyway? Feh. I usually try to pair the navy with something that has black or brown in it to dictate the shoes I wear. (Or I just wear my bluegreen Danskos, but those aren't for the level of formal that would require navy shoes in the first place.)
