Zappos.com was held up as good example of metadata in the content management conference I went to last week. Everybody loves it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

So many cute shoes, so little closet space.

No kidding. I'm working my way through my boot collection, wearing one pair per day to work, and if they don't pass the comfort and the "Yay!" test, I'm shipping them out to Sally Ann or something.

Flea, those Danskos are pretty close to exactly what I want, but a bit rich for my blood.

When did I become a shoe slut?

Hell, when did I become a girl?

I'm a metadata whore of the first order. BLESS THEM. I don't envy the categorisation effort, but I'm glad they do it.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I want these more than I don't know what.

information libertarian

I feel Danskos are worth it. And I'm totally cheap. But I am an "I own 3 pairs of shoes and wear them very day" sort of person, so I feel it pays on a per-wearing basis.

Aimee, I like those, too! Love anything that makes me tall.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

I feel Danskos are worth it.

They do last forever, it's true.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I *want* the Michael Kors version. I like the Steve Madden's, but they are running small. I tried on the 9 and I couldn't even get my foot in it. I'd probably need a 10. And there's something that I don't like about buying a size 10 shoe. Strange, I know.

Okay, next time. I already pulled the trigger on the Aerosoles. They don't last forever (it's a pair of them I'm replacing), but the sizing is remarkably consistent, enough that I feel confident ordering online, and are most often more comfortable than the style would seem.

I don't know why I like these, but I do: [link]

I mean, faux zebra stripes? Normally I'd run away screaming.

Those sounded horrible but they are quite cute. Maybe it's that little pom pom thingy.
