You're wrong about River. River's not on the ship. They didn't want her here, but she couldn't make herself leave. So she melted... Melted away. They didn't know she could do that, but she did.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

What I want to know is: who the hell fantasizes about getting online? That's like fantasizing about, like, walking the dog.

I've totally had "OMG I can't wait to post that" moments, which is really more anticipating than fantasizing, or been at a movie wishing there was a watch and post, which - okay, fair cop on that one.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I've totally had "OMG I can't wait to post that" moments, which is really more anticipating than fantasizing, or been at a movie wishing there was a watch and post, which - okay, fair cop on that one.

In both those cases, it's NSM "I can't wait to get online" as "I can't wait to tell other Buffistas." Which is different (in my head, anyway).

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I personally wouldn't count future planning about what to do online-- like telling my mom last night that I'll buy plane tickets today-- as the type of fantasizing the test is asking after.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I've had enough "I wish I could blog this!" moments (sometimes I do blog it, just like I thought, and sometimes I can't) to call it fantasising. Not to mention things I'd love to photograph and share online because I know just how people would react, but can't.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Having written LJ posts in my head on the drive home, I did have to answer "occasionally".

What she said.
