Yeah, I could do that, but I'm paralyzed with not caring very much.

Ginger - I like your much better way of saying my lame "we count differently".

Hil, I'm glad you're better. Oh, and good luck on your exam! The semester being over tomorrow, at least as far as TAing goes, means you'll have more free time in the coming month to study, right?

Exclamation-pointing beth: beth!

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

and Hil - quoted by name?!?!

Yep. And quoted saying things like:

He places his left hand on his chest. "I feel a lack of desire here and in my stomach," he says, and he is not smiling. "I have all this love to share and it's not what it used to be."

Art Crawl!!!

On Buffy it really seemed like that cotton in the ears thing you can get from shock . . . but that whole episode of buffy was so good.

hip deep in pie

mmmm, I think Hil is right, stuff is treated like a singular noun.

Jessica - May 11, 2006 5:53:28 am PDT #6733 of 10002
And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

"Stuff" is a mass noun, like water. Gramatically it's treated as singular even though it refers to a bunch of...stuff.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Hil, I'm skeeved out on your behalf.

Grammar is so interesting.

TAR was so exciting! I'm glad that none of the last four teams were horrible, even the ones that aren't my favorite, you know? I like just watching the race, and not hoping any of them die. Also, MONKEY.

Thanks for all the grammar explanations, everybody.

Jesse, when is your semester supposed to end? (sorry, I have no idea. And it is your last one, so you'll be all finished when it's done, right?)
