Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OK, I just sent my thank-you notes for yesterday, and the lowest-level person (counterpart to the job I was interviewing for) wrote right back, saying she was glad I'm interested in the job. That's good, right?

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I agree with the whitefonters, Ailleann.

That's very good. I got to sit in on the interviews for my counterpart a few months ago and I think I only replied in email to the applicant that I wanted hired. At least until we notified the rest that they didn't get the job.

Ailleann - Happy Birthday !!

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

It's very good, Jesse. Woot!

First set of furniture is supposed to be delivered between 10:30 and 12:30 today. While I wait, I guess this means I can either watch stuff from Netflix, or keep watching the first season of Veronica Mars...

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

brenda, what he was saying is that he and Goldie agreed that they would have gotten married if the kids had wanted them to.

Yeah, but they did a joint Vanity Fair interview or summat some years ago, and there was definitely something in there about him being able to sleep with other women because it just wasn't right for a man not to be able to do that. Skeevy in the extreme.

Ew. Of course, you can do that married-on-paper or not.

OMG, this cute little baker on Martha Stewart is just not bright -- first he called baking tools "implementations," and then he just called the Cake Bible lady "infamous" for wedding cakes. Poor noodle.
