I would be there right now.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I AM NOT A HITLER WHORE!

That's the kind of denial which is itself damning.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I got a massage at krav to help alleviate the migraine that was keeping me from teaching. It was weird--she saw my pupils (change (dilate, I think) the minute the meds kicked in. But the massage totally helped. Left arm is kinda weak, though.

Veronica Mars is making me laugh. I guess I should have watched the first half hour. Or I should have a heart.

I will not relinquish the monkey for a penguin. It took a fuck of a lot to get me on the monkey train. I don't give that up so easily.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I will not relinquish the monkey for a penguin.

Someone should use that for a tag.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Ignoring hec, BT and Tommyrot

I am supposed to be making a pasta salad for the firm potluck tomorrow.

Huh.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Actual death by chocolate.
I would consider taking one for the team tonight. There *must* be chocolate here somewhere...

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

up to and including Kurt Russell just now.

That would be Kurt "men aren't meant to be monogomous and my wife has learned to understand that" Russell? I think he'd be my second choice for marital advice, after Tom Cruise.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Morning, peeps! I'm reveling in the thought that I'm going to be able to go to my Actual Job this morning, in my own cube, with my own coworkers, with actual work that I can do masterfully, instead of over to the QA department where life is haaaaaard, and there's nothing to do but run the same damn tests over and over again because new functionality and new, non-buggy data still has to arrive. It's only a temporary reprieve, but it sure reminds me that generally I have a job that I, you know, like.

Should I be embarrassed to say I kind of love the Trump kids?

Also, appears to be an escaped con in your neighborhood, Tommyrot and aurelia. Don't answer that dooe!

Punishingly Intricate

Does anybody who watched Gilmore Girls know what the actress who played the psychologist has been on before? It's driving me crazy!
