Shit's all sorts of different now.

I don't think she saw that much of the cattiness as opposed to feeling the weridness when Izzie was around her.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

But the weirdness is kinda expected, no? I mean I'd expect people I barely know to be put off by me peeing in front of them, yet not being willing to wash my hands in front of them. There are situations that are going to cause weirdness. That's certainly on the list.

Always Anti-fascist!

If you have a UTI, don't drink caffeine...it's irritating.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Heard from my Mom, who passed on some good aunt-news, that she's doing well on all the cognitive and physical tests, and the MRI showed no significant damage. At least as filtered from my uncle through my Mom, they could leave out that she had a leg amputated or something as that would unnecessarily upset me....

Yeah, it was kind of expected. I can see that. But I also have to wonder, when Mere and Izzie realized she was peeing, why didn't THEY leave? They were just talking and plucking.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Willow's hair WAS the best in season 4! She had that cute flippy cut for college!

I was gonna say.

I thought it was cute...she kind of kept little-girl hair a bit too long. But it makes sense...way more likely geek-girl faux pas than the crooked glasses with tape on them so beloved by tv writers, still.

I'm interested to hear that caffeine might actually not be that much of a diuretic. I'm hopelessly thirsty but don't want water, and am trying to work out what to drink next.

Of course, I could have had a gallon of water by now, but I had to stop and talk to a co-worker about krav. Trumps dying of thirst.

eta, because of the time between starting and finishing the post:

Good news, Theo!

Aimée, I wouldn't have left, because I was there first. If she's not going to be embarassed, I'd be all about standing my ground. The giggle damage is done once it's apparent what she's doing, anyway.

GA: I've had roommates like her. I couldn't really decide if she was the one type who a) find themselves in an awkward situation (ie barged into the bathroom to find it occupied) and just muscle through it as if nothing because, well, horse, barn and a fair dose of if-I-can't-see-the-monster-itis denial or the other type who b) just doesn't give a shit, even about other people's boundaries. If they play up the insecurities, I might go more with type A. Otherwise, well, I HATED that roommate and was just as catty as M&I over really stupid shit. It was an attempt to shame the unshamable and make them go away, or something.

As for the stick up for me stuff, eh. It rubs the wrong way to me, regardless. If she'd just said to George, gee your friends can be mean & juvenile, it would have been less....juvenile. Which they are. Which is kinda the MO, but anyway. Who wants to watch a show about perfectly sane, balanced, mature people anyway?!

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I don't think it mattered whether george believed she had washed her hands or not. It was more about your friends are treating me badly, and they wouldn't do that if you didn't tolerate it, so stop it. It would not have been unreasonable to say Hey, lay off, it was early! It was kind of shitty of him to ask her in the hospital when she was with a patient.

As for the high school fat girl idea, it's stupid, but if you're going to do it, don't pick a gorgeous woman. cause no one will get the metaphor
